The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Inquiry on Bushfire
Mitigation and Management finalised its report on 2 April 2004.
The report remained under embargo while COAG considered the report
and developed an agreed response to the report.
COAG has now agreed out-of-session to
the release of both the report and COAG’s response. The
Prime
Minister's media
release is available on the Prime Minister's
website.
